Hey guys! I hope your Monday has been fab! I have been running around all day long—but I’ve been productive, so it’s worth it.
I loved hearing all about your lunches throughout the day—it kept me in an upbeat mood!
For those of you who also went back to school today—how was your first day?
I recently received the Stylish Blogger Award from not one, but two, amazing friends! Thank you Jennifer and Kristina!
Could the stylish blogger award be any cuter? Nope, I don’t think so.
So here’s how it works…
In order to accept this award, you must perform 4 duties:
1. Make a post + Link back to the person who awarded you this award.
2. Share 7 things about yourself.
3. Award 15 recently discovered great bloggers.
4. Contact these bloggers and tell them they’ve won!
7 things about myself? I think I can do that. I can’t promise they will be new or even interesting for that matter, but I’ll give it whirl.
1.) I used to bite my nails like it was job. I would literally bite them until they hurt. I tried everything to break the habit: that icky tasting polish, wearing gloves, heck even tape. Nothing worked. One day I just randomly stopped. Weird, but true.
2.) I talk to all animals in a really weird voice. If you’re lucky, I just may show you the voice on video. But then I’d probably scare you away—so on the other hand, maybe I won’t.
3.) I love my alone time. I wouldn’t call myself a loner, but I cherish my me-time. I am perfectly comfortable in my own little world.
4.) I absolutely have to wear earrings everyday or else I feel naked. From studs to dangly earrings, I love them all! If I leave the house and forget my earrings, I sometimes turn back.
5.) I am obsessed with the Cadbury crème eggs that come out around Easter. You know, the ones that have a creamy filling with a fake yolk. Oh man, they are so good! Before I was conscious of what I put in mouth—I would probably eat like 6 in a row. Argh, I wouldn’t eat that many now (hello, sugar high)—but you will definitely catch me snacking on one or two in April (by the way: I just had to Google ‘when is Easter’ to remember what month it is in. Eek, my brain is jammed!)
6.) I was a total tomboy when I was younger. My sister and I played outside all the time. One summer we decided to camp out in our backyard. We wanted to make the experience “real,” so we made our own port-a-potty out of a box of leaves. Gross, but true. Sorry for calling you out Tiff!
7.) Another funny thing about my childhood. We had a tire swing hanging from a tree branch in our backyard and my sister and I would wind it up until it spun so fast we couldn’t see straight. I always made her sit on the bottom because we would pee our pants most of the time. Do I sense a potty theme here? Good thing I’m done before I go any further.
Well that was fun!
15 great bloggers may sound like a lot—but in reality, this took some narrowing down!
I tried not to give duplicate awards—which was hard!
Whew! Well head on over and give these fabulous ladies some love!!
I have a date with my treadmill and the first episode of Biggest loser from last week!
See you guys in the AM with the lunchbox challenge: day 2! If you missed it: here’s the intro and day 1.

Ohhhh how neat!! I had to pop over and see what this little award was all about (never knew bloggers did this, how fun!!) Thanks for dubbing me as one of your winners :)
Great list---so funny what you can learn about a person from these lists. My sister and I used to do silly stuff like that too, never made a porta potty though :)
Thanks for the award! I'll definitel get on that this week!
Oh gosh.. I grew up with 2 brothers and a sister so someone was always peeing their pants. yeah yeah.. usually me. I laughed HARD (haha!)
OMG CADBURY CREME EGGS! That's a four letter word for me... I'm obsessed with them and will stock up like a squirrel the second I see them in stores. They are the only candy I can't turn down!
xoXOxo
Jenn @ Peas & Crayons
Biting my nails is my worst habit... it is SO gross, but I can't stop!
Thanks so much for the award girlie!! :) I will definitely make sure to pass it on sometime this week!
Thanks so much for the award, girl! I'll get on that asap:)
thanks for the award, I mean you really think I deserve it?! I guess : )
omg omg cadbury eggs are the BEST! I saw them at the grocery store tonight but then I felt like it was wrong if I had one before easter, I mean it is way before easter, if it was like a month b4 I would have been game! But those make me think of easter when I was little and spring, spring needs to get here now!
Have a good night girl! xoxo
Yay, thanks for the award Stefanie! I'll post about it soon!! Thanks again!
Aww thank you my dear! I will fulfill my stylish blogger duties in Thursday's post. I love your childhood stories!! :)
I agree with #2, #3 and #6!!!
If anyone heard me talk to my cat...I would get admitted for sure ;-)
Thank you thank you miss! I posted about some Stylish Blogger awards yesterday, so I'll link to them!
I don't like the cadbury eggs but I looove Peeps!
I still bite my nails! Wish I could stop! I’ve really started to value my alone time even more as I’ve gotten older. It’s funny how things like that really change.
Without earrings I feel like a boy haha
Wow! Thanks Stephanie! I am horrible about remembering to wear earrings, but I really savor my alone time too.
What a fun post! I am the same way about earings--can't leave the house without them! And Cadbury eggs are pretty amazing...I love the mini version!
Ah, I used to bite my nails like it as a job, too! And I one day just suddenly stopped, too. Strange...I guess we just outgrew it?
I adore alone time-glad i'm not "alone" on that one:) and talking to animals in weird voices-isn't that normal??? haha
@Lisa @ Thrive Style Wasn't it so fun growing up with a sister? My sister and I were 13 months apart--so we did a lot of weird stuff! haha ;)
@cleaneatingchelsey.com Your welcome! No rush!
@Jennifer haha I was always guilty of peeing my pants while laughing! With my friends, my family, anyone. ;)
So glad to find so many fellow Cadbury lovers!!!
@ashleigh One day you'll just stop. Hopefully! That's how it worked for me! :)
@Andrea You are so welcome! No rush at all!
@Katie ♥ Of course you deserve it-silly girl! :)

@Priyanka You are welcome girl! No rush!

@Laury @The FitnessDish haha Glad I'm not the only one!! ;)
@Meri Sounds good! I tried not to give awards to those who already won, but you're just that stylish! ;)
@Sophia @ Raven Waves I know! Wait until you have kids-then your alone time will be the best thing ever! ;)
@thefitnessapplelol me too! Especially when I wear my hair back!
@Sara @ Nourish and Flourish The mini ones are delish too! But I think I'd eat the whole bag--can't stop at one! ;)
@sophia That's weird that we both outgrew it like that! Maybe that's the normal outcome? Either way I'm happy about it! :)
@LifeasKristinaHaha you're probably right! People who talk to animals in their normal voice? They're the weird ones! ;)
Aww thanks girl! You are SO sweet! :)
And I was definitely a tomboy when I was younger too! Oh, and I definitely want to see a video of you talking to animals... ;)
