Dance like no one’s watching.

Thank you guys so much for the thoughtful comments on my inspiration board! So much love and positivity here. <3 For those of you who have yet to make yours—I can’t wait to see them!

How could today have not been productive with all this inspiration flowing around the blog world?

Since I also use music as a source of motivation, I usually make a new playlist at the beginning of each month! This month was no different.

December’s playlist:

New music + my inspiration board=unstoppable Winking smile

Songs I’m rocking out to today:

January playlist 2

While blasting my new tunes, I swiffered my floors. I may or may not have sang along and danced using my Swiffer handle as a microphone. Who needs a dance floor or a microphone? All I need is my pink Swiffer!

I also crossed a lot off of my to-do list:

  • ordered my textbooks on-line (so much cheaper!)
  • cleaned the fridge (inside n’ out)
  • made doc/dentist appts.
  • made a hair appt. <—finally, my roots are getting crazy!
  • paid bills <—yuck

Thank goodness for my planner so I can keep all these upcoming dates organized.

Lunch was boring, but delicious.

I just checked my snail mail and lets just the say the contents call for a little marathon with my DVD player!

Yay! Can’t wait. Smile

Have a great night!

Any songs that I must download? I like all different genres!

I neeeed a planner. I'm so bad, I usually write things on my hands or text/email them to myself <---Grow up, Lauren! haha

Great playlists! I do a much better (and faster, and less whiny) job at cleaning when I have good music to motivate me.

Sounds/looks like you were really productive today!

MY planner is my LIFE!! I cant do anything without that baby.
Fun Fact: We named our puppy Opie after the guy in Sons of Anarchy :) We plan on getting another dog soon and naming her Jax!! (yes we only get female dogs so our dogs will have boy names!)

@Lauren Haha! I definitely text things to myself, but THEN I add them into my planner! :)

@Lisa @ Thrive Style Oh my gosh me too! I've gotten to the point where I can't deep clean unless I have the music blasting! <--that's probably not the best thing-but oh well! ;)

@Meg I know! Confession: I already had a green swiffer, but when I saw the special edition pink one, I just HAD to have it! It was for breast cancer awareness month--so it was a purchase for a good cause. ;)

Sounds like a productive day!

Have you ever used Chegg.com? Renting books is a cheap way to go!

If I leave something for my brain to remember that will most likely be forgotten, so I have become best friends with my planner!

I LOVE your inspiration board! After reading the post about your goals for 2011, your inspiration board was absolutely perfect!

When you mentioned your board the other day I honestly thought it was some self obessed, materialistic devotional. Only because I've actually seen that at work before! This guy had his board at work, it has a BMW on there, huge house, etc.

So THANK YOU for showing me what a new, healthy board is all about. ;-) I LOVE IT!!!! And feel inspired to reflect on my goals and make one too!

Love your site Stephanie!

@Hillary [Nutrition Nut on the Run] I have heard of Chegg--but thanks for the recommendation! If they're available, I always buy my books in the international edition! They're usually under 50 dollars! I do this for my upper-level psych classes because I'll need them to study for the GRE! :)

@Priyanka I'm like that too! There's just too much going on each day not to be organized! :)

@Carla Thanks so much Carla!

I'm glad I could show you what a healthy inspiration board is all about! I would love to see yours if you make one! :)
