A very merry Christmas {recap}.

Well, I think it’s safe to say that Santa did his job this year. Adam got all he wanted and more.

I found the elusive Mindflex and I was spot on with the whole ‘Santa-Mommy handwriting coincidence.’ He definitely asked why Santa’s handwriting was so similar to mine. Don’t worry, I laid the guilt-trip on thick and I think it worked. Winking smile

It’s also safe to say that Santa ate enough cookies, butter, and cheese to last her (yes, Santa can be female) through the duration of the New Year. Hey, all that padding has to come from somewhere.

To sum it up, the past few days have involved yummy food, great company, and lots of fun!

I can’t believe we have to wait a whole year to do it again!

My parents got me the perfect present: a rice cooker. For the life of me, I just can’t cook brown rice. The rice cooker claims to cook “perfect brown rice,” so I can’t wait to test it out!

Adam got me Biggest Loser work out for Xbox 360 Kinect! Ah, I can’t wait to try that either!

After all the food festivities of the last few days, I woke up craving something healthy!

A smoothie sounded like the perfect breakfast to get me back on track.

  • 1 C. almond milk
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 scoop vanilla protein
  • 1/4 C. Greek yogurt
  • 1 packet Green SuperFood

It hit the spot! Until I spilled it all over the kitchen with half left to drink. Boo, I hate when that happens! Well, that was the first time that has happened—but still.

I also sweated out the sugar with a few ExerciseTV videos.

Jay Johnson and Jillian Michaels are slave drivers—in the best way possible!

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas [if you celebrate]!

Tell me, what was your favorite part of Christmas 2010?

<3 Stefanie
