My day can easily be divided up into these categories.
The Good
After spending the majority of my day at the mall, I am thisclose to finishing my Christmas shopping. This is a record for me guys! I usually wait until the very last minute (think: Christmas Eve) to finish my shopping! I’m a big girl now, oh wow.
People left to shop for? Mom & Dad. In my opinion, they are the hardest! So who knows, maybe I will be out shopping until the last minute after all.
The Bad
I spent a pretty penny getting all that shopping done. Unfortunately, I only work one day over the next few weeks. So while I love the downtime, I’d also love to make that holla dolla. I think it’s time to start selling on eBay again!
The Ugly
Our furnace is broken! Oh my gosh, it is freezing in our house! Blankets, gloves, and fuzzy socks are a necessity. Adam is cuddled up under multiple blankets while wearing his jacket.
Thank goodness I picked these up at Bath & Body today:
These allow me to moisturize while keeping my tootsies toasty! Sounds like a plan to me!
In true holiday spirit, I will say this: we are healthy and happy, so it really isn’t that bad after all. Not to mention, I am thankful for being able to buy Christmas presents when so many others cannot. What can I say? Sometimes I’m just a total whiner.
Cookies and candles are keeping my tummy and my nose happy.
Time to start wrapping presents! Cross your fingers that the heating man gets here quickly!

yummmm i love all things vanilla and that candle looks amazing! so sorry to hear about your furnace situation!! cold weather and i do not get along so i can imagine how annoyed you must be. sending some warm wishes your way!! :)

oh gosh! I hope your heat gets fixed soon! Those socks look comfy though! I agree that mom and dad are the hardest to shop for! I just finished tonight! Thank goodness!

That's one of my FAVORITE candle scents! Yay! I'm so glad you got some Christmas shopping done, I did as well, even though the mall was insane as the day went on, haha! What do you sell on eBay? You should get a space heater. Our house is over a hundred years old so it has horrible insulation. It's cold even when the heat is on. We do have a space heater in the living room and in the bathroom. Makes things so much better!
