Where my loyalties lie...

Hey Wednesday, it’s so nice to see you again. Although I certainly feel like you were only here just yesterday. Even though you are almost over, you are welcomed with open arms. You are a sign that the weekend is a-coming, and for that I adore you.

As per usual, Wednesday’s eats have been simple and easily packed into my handy dandy lunchbox. I started out the day with overnight chia pudding:

Topped with organic raspberries.

Of course this was eaten in my car. The semi-safe way. This means quickly shoveling bites into my mouth at each stoplight while discretely snapping pictures. Ah, the glamorous life I live.

My outfit for the day was just about as glam as my school looks go, without really being glamorous at all:

I just love leopard print for fall. Okay, I love animal print year round, but for fall especially. There is a cheetah girl inside me just dying to get out!

In my own un-educated opinion, animal print pieces add a nice touch to just about any outfit--casual or dressy.

I ate lunch with my sister today, which was a nice change from my usual solo lunches. We actually ate in the designated eating place—the cafeteria, rather than my usual corner in the library/my car trunk. ;)

My lunch included a yummy tempeh wrap:

Sundried Tomato La Tortilla Wrap
Laughing Cow Queso Wedge
Hummus
Nutritional Yeast
Tempeh

Paired with juicy grapes:

I love the word juicy. Don’t you? It can be used as an adjective for so many different things. Juicy ba-donk-a-donk, juicy fruit gum, juicy steak (yuck!), juicy couture…you get the picture!

I also had a Fuji apple.

Just kidding, this is totally a honey crisp! I prefer not to cheat. Don’t worry honey crisp, I’ll break up with you before I stray. ;)

And last but not least: PB & J larabar. It’s possible that I keep this company going with how many larabars I consume!

Insert three hours of painting, Cognitive Psychology, and the second half of the meeting I missed yesterday! I feel so much better now that I’m up-to-date.

I picked up my son, and then we stopped at my parents house. My Mom had a little suprise waiting:

Now she clearly knows where my loyalties lie. How thoughtful of her. :)

I also snagged these babies from my parents:

I’ve wanted to try these since I first laid eyes on them, but I didn’t want to buy the 4-pack from Costco. You know, just in case I didn’t like them. Fat chance that is, considering I’ve never met a chickpea I didn’t like.

I’m off to reunite with Chalene Johnson and turbo it up!

Have a great night,

<3 Stefanie

What fall trend are you crushing on right now? As you can tell, I am slightly obsessed with animal prints.

Firstly, I totally do the whole semi-safe, photos in the car thing... I'm getting a bit better at it but they're certainly not the best photos I've ever taken!! And secondly, your outfit is SOOOOOO cute!! I absolutely love your style! My favourite fall trend right now... hmmm... i'm always into the whole sweater-dresses-with-tights thing. I like the idea of animal prints, but don't normally wear them. No time like the present, right? :)

@eatspinrunrepeat Thanks! And you're so right: there is no time like the present! I ended this morning's blog post with that quote! :)
